Revolutionary Design Unveiled for Residential Building in Tirana

A Portuguese architectural firm, OODA, has recently revealed a groundbreaking design for the Hora Vertikale residential development in Tirana, Albania. The project, scheduled to commence in 2024, aims to not only engage the local community but also create a one-of-a-kind vertical village within the capital city.

The concept proposed by OODA features a mesmerizing structure composed of 13 staggered cube volumes. Each cube measures 22.5 meters by 22.5 meters and stands seven stories tall. The building’s design consists of three rows of cubes forming the base, with an additional tower of two side-by-side cubes, creating a final height of six cubes.

To add both beauty and functionality, the cubes will feature a variety of architectural elements. Some will incorporate gridded facades with regular window openings, while others will include protruding blocks and rounded elements. The highest cube will boast angular balconies supported by stylish columns, enhancing the visual appeal of the entire structure.
